Biomusique - The 10.000 Steps

Biomusique is the name of the group's acclaimed singer-songwriter Lisbeth Scott (Chronicles of Narnia, The Passion of Christ), and master percussionist Greg Ellis (The Matrix, 300). Besides his work in film, both Scott and Ellis maintain different musical careers

Lisbeth Scott Originally trained as a classical pianist at the Conservatory the music of New England, decided early on to use his voice as an instrument of healing in a variety of musical contexts. He has collaborated with a variety of eclectic musicians such as INXS, Tom Rush, John Prine and Paul Schwartz.

Greg Ellis has continued his fascination with percussion instruments along a single path of music that has led to an impressive list of recordings with artists such as Billy Idol, Mickey Hart, and Keith Emerson. He began playing the trumpet at age 9 and drums and 13 years. He is completely self-taught. Scott's voice is an incredible instrument, full of emotion. With excellent light obsessively, that touches the soul like a soft feather-light that evokes feelings of tranquility and happiness. Percussion talent Ellis holds the fundamental tones of the dulcimer, trumpet, bass guitar, bells and drums to interlace and enhance the colors of the healing of Scott's voice. As Biomusique, the two artists have created a wonderful symbiosis of voice and percussion instruments mantra.

invites The 10,000 steps a transition to a higher state of mind which makes it a perfect accompaniment to the practice of yoga and meditation. The delicate balance of subtle percussion and Ellis Scott's soulful voice creates a series of visions of distant scenic landscapes in the listener with an irresistible power.

"My lyrics are presented with images all the time. A film starts in my head ... and I simply describe what I see. As soon as I heard Greg play the harp in the song Ohroo, vi a young knight, fluid and strong throughout the open field with mountains in the distance ... He was on the night in despair, not a minute to lose, by the desire of the woman he loves, calling all time ... and she far away in a small room, sleeping, dreaming about it, "says Scott.
