Kasse Mady Diabate
recorded this album in its own people Kela where their ancestors developed this style of music (Send) and passed through an oral tradition dear. While Diabate has played with several bands and is known for his appearances in the Cuban group Las Maravillas de Mali, his solo album has attracted attention. There is much love and much to explore in these parts, delicious games with the guitar, the kora (12-string harp), ngoni (lute), balafon (xylophone) and djembe (drum). tenor voice Diabate, along with the background vocals of female singers, is deeply skilled, able to fly effortlessly through the intricate melodies up and down. In addition
of traditional songs from Mali, Diabate shows its influence Cuban songs like "Maimouna." Also noteworthy is the performance of Cuban bassist Orlando Cachaito Lopez, known for his work with the Buena Vista Social Club.
